tête präsentiert "Hors d’œuvre - The Secondary Concern #2"
Die Ausstellung "Hors d’œuvre - The Secondary Concern" wird nach dem letztjährigen Erfolg in einer zweiten Auflage stattfinden. Wir freuen uns, diesmal am 1. August den Auftakt für das Project Space Festival zu bilden.
Für "Hors d’œuvre - The Secondary Concern #2" füllen die teilnehmenden KünstlerInnen tête mit Hors d’œuvres und Videos rund ums Essen. Dabei wird mit der Bedeutung des Wortes Hors d’œuvre ("außerhalb des Werkes") gespielt: So stellen Nahrungsmittel oder deren Zubereitung nicht das Hauptmedium der beteiligten KünstlerInnen dar und die ausgewählten Videoarbeiten zeigen zwar Nahrungsmittel, verhandeln aber soziale oder politische Themen. tête als Ort für soziale Skulptur, die über das Medium eines gemeinsamen Essens und Austauschs funktioniert, wird zudem im Außenraum durch eine Installation von Elise Carron & Eléonore Pano-Zavaroni gekennzeichnet werden.

tête is happy to present "Hors d’œuvre - The Secondary Concern #2"
Due to the success of last year’s event, "Hors d’œuvre - The Secondary Concern" will be realized in a second edition. We are thrilled to start the Project Space Festival on the 1st of August with you!
For "Hors d’œuvre - The Secondary Concern #2", the participating artists will fill tête with hors d’œuvres and videos about food, playing with the sense of the word hors d’œuvre ("apart from the [main] work"): On the one hand, food and cooking is not the main medium of the participating artists, and, on the other hand, the selected video works use food as a medium to focus on social/political issues. tête as a place for social sculpture - through the medium of shared food and exchange - will be highlighted with an outdoor installation by Elise Carron & Eléonore Pano-Zavaroni.
