20.4. - 23.6. 2013

With the motto "whoever stays behind will be left behind," the Kunstverein St. Pauli has been on the road touring different Kunstvereine ("art associations") since the middle of 2012. After stops in Lagenhangen and Leipzig, St. Pauli arrives in Heidelberg in early June.

This artist collective, which is also the smallest art association in Germany, travels with six artworks by international artists, packed in a large shipping container. The artworks will be displayed in the Heidelberger Kunstverein's foyer, while the shipping container will become a stage for local artistic interventions into public space.

From June 1-16, pieces by Heidelberg residents will be on display in the Altstadt ("Old City"). The container will also host a series of events organized in collaboration with, among others, "Art van Demon", "Palais Rischer" and the group "Fort-Da".

Location and more detailed information about events will be posted on the Kunstverein website: www.hdkv.de
