ARTIST STATEMENT (SHORT VERSION)
"The materialization of the digital forms plays an important role for me in the implementation. I play and experiment with different surfaces of paper, especially giclées to textiles and objects to installations and photo sculptures. I basically understand my artistic approach across media. Working with text and sound also expand the visual. As an artist, I see myself as a “perception practitioner” who explores the visual, playing an „Abstraktionsspiel“ in the “(Vilém) Flusser” sense. What is fascinating is the ambiguous, contradicting and transformative.In the perception, the subtext of the technical and political apparatus, which I encounter as an artist with ambiguous worldviews, is sometimes reproduced. My artistic practice deals with media aesthetics, visual research, photography as a medium and questions of perception."
