"PELEADOR"
A fighter fish fights the border of a TV screen constantly. In this video of a fish, the artist meditates on suicide, self-destruction, liberty and confinement. In a metaphor of reality, the fish fights its own image until it destroys itself in the attempt. Tus, the contemporary individual, in his struggle for existence, ends by destroying others and himself. At the same time there is an inner struggle involving the social limits imposed on the individual, and the individual ́s capacity both of response to them and reaction against them.
