ADONIS FLORES

"LENGUAJE"

This work is a self-portrait where Adonis Flores shows shamelessly a camouflaged tongue. Appertaining to a series called Camouflages, drawn from his experiences in his obligatory military service in Angola in 1989, this portrait is a letter of introduction of the artist to a world of double moral and false appearances. Saucy, acute and humorous at the same time, the work presents a fashionable language style through the same organ of the body used to articulate it.
