Focus moves aside, objects appear
6 – 23 December 2012

The exhibition Focus moves aside, objects appear is the result of a study on memory and the things that surround us. Memory isn't used to represent the past or tell a story. The work is about the mechanism of memory itself. Kato Six assembles and presents abstracted fragments derived from recollections in architectural constructions. In her schematic installations the artist tries to disconnect the original object from its past.
