The Berlin based painter Daniela Brahm works with series of images which construct painted spaces. Starting point of the paintings are often photographs or found images which get digitally altered and collaged on the computer. By taking these images and turning them into a painted image Daniela Brahm arrives at an idealised image, which reflects both an idealised personal expression as well as a general reflection on popular culture.
