Contemporary Art: 32 Art Professors shows their current works
An exhibition of the Karl Hofer Association in cooperation with the Berlin University of the Arts and the Berlinische Galerie
This year, the Karl Hofer Association of the Berlin University of the Arts is celebrating its 50th birthday. This is reason enough for an exhibition—the second since “Sculptors and Painters in Steinplatz, 1945-1986”—in which all art professors of the Berlin School of Fine Arts contribute their own current works. Professors who have recently retired are included as well.
The following artists are represented: Dieter Appelt, Frank Badur, Georg Baselitz, Lothar Baumgarten, Anthony Cragg, Hans-Jürgen Diehl, Stan Douglas, David Evison, Klaus Fußmann, Johannes Geccelli, Kuno Gonschior, Dieter Hacker, Burkhard Held, Karl-Heinz Herrfurth, KH Hödicke, Rebecca Horn, Leiko Ikemura, Harro Jacob, Bernd Koberling, Heinz Kristahn, Henning Kürschner, Diemar Lemcke, Marwan, Christiane Möbus, Ursula Neugebauer, Wolfgang Petrick, Daniel Richter, Joachim Schmettau, Michael Schoenholtz, Katharina Sieverding, Volker Stelzmann, and Rolf Szymanski.
The exhibit is supplemented by works from the permanent collection of the Berlinische Galerie.
