Graduated from the Royal Academy for Art and Design, ’s-Hertogenbosch The Netherlands in 1997
Eveline van de Griend was born in 's-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands in 1976. She grew up in Africa, England and Russia, before returning to The Netherlands to study drawing, painting and sculpture at the Art Academy 's-Hertogenbosch, the city where the famous Dutch painter Hieronymus Bosch lived. She taught at Art Academies in The Netherlands AKV St. Joost, Breda and AKV ‘s-Hertogenbosch, gave lectures internationally, and was an artist-in-residence in France, Italy, Germany and South Africa. In Pietrasanta, Italy she studied the classical technique of carving in marble. Currently Eveline is living and working in Berlin, Germany and in The Netherlands.
