Invaliden1

Höfner & Sachs and Nicolás Robbio

16 Mar - 28 Apr 2007

After almost two years of activity at Invalidenstrasse 1, the project
Invaliden1 opens a new exhibition space located just a few meters away at Brunnenstrasse 22.

We cordially invite you to this very special evening that will take place simultaneously at both venues on

Friday, 16th March 2007, 19:00 to 21:00.

Invaliden1 is pleased to host the work of artists duo Höfner & Sachs at the old location and present the new venue of Brunnenstrasse 22 with the first solo exhibition in Berlin of argentinian artist Nicolás Robbio.

Nicolás Robbio (Mar de Plata, Argentina, 1975) is currently a grantee of the Itaú Cultural Institute (Brazil) at Künstlerhaus Bethanien (Berlin). His work reveals a desire to bring new meanings to the structure of common objects, creating an intimate body of work that includes photography, video, drawings and site-specific installations.

Franz Höfner (Starnberg, 1970) and Harry Sachs (Stuttgart, 1974) studied Film and Television Studies at the Ruhruniversität Bochum and Visual Arts at the Bauhaus University Weimar where they met in 1998. Since then their work has been shown in exhibitions, film festivals and projects in Berlin, Weimar, Leipzig, Rennes, Baden-Baden amongst others. Both artists live and work in Berlin.
