Each Wednesday, March 17 – April 28, 2010, 7pm
“Hier und jetzt” presents a weekly series of artists talks with artists who live and work – sometimes temporarily – in Stuttgart. Working in different media and disciplines, and using different presentation formats, from talks, discussions to performances, the series implies a panorama of contemporary practices from the region. The various artistic attitudes and social contexts show the plurality of local scenes, their specificity as well as their connection to broader discourses. The series is conceived as an open forum, allowing the public a direct dialogue, and experiments with new forms of representation
“Hier und jetzt” will be continued in the second half of 2010.
Parts of the series are co-produced with the Akademie Schloss Solitude. Curators: Michael Birchall, Axel J. Wieder.
