The Stiftung Frauenkunstpreis (Women's Art Prize foundation) was established in 2001. Women artists working in the region of Bern and the surrounding cantons are honoured for their work with an annual award. An exhibiton is held at Kunstmuseum Thun to mark the 10th anniversary. This year's prize winner Olivia Notaro and all previous prize winners will exhibit their current work: Eva Baumann, Klodin Erb, Béatrice Gysin, Sylvia Hostettler, Karin Hotz, Luo Mingjun, Barbara Meyer Cesta, Adela Picón und Angela Zwahlen.
