Barbara Klemm (born 1939 in Münster), whose work is featured in the collections of many art museums, was awarded the Max Beckmann Prize from the City of Frankfurt in 2010, followed by the Medal Pour le Mérite for Science and the Arts in 2011. Her photographs appeared in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung for over three decades - and many have been included in publications on contemporary history. She is now presenting 60 artist portraits in Leipzig, spanning four decades: visual artists, authors, musicians, conductors and philosophers.
