SABINE REITMAIER
Sabine Reitmaier works both as an artist, and a photographer for various art/fashion/lifestyle magazines. She has explicitly relied on the conventions of photography and their commercial implications to influence her artistic approach. Her most recent exhibitions include several collaborative projects, Samsa, Berlin (with Isabelle Fein), Galerie Johann König, Berlin and Kunstverein Oldenburg (with Henning Bohl). She is currently working with Henning Bohl on an exhibition and catalogue documenting the tourism industries latest high–end charter bus designs, the so called Bus Wraps. In 2003 she published Haßloch Hochseilgarten Holidaypark with Revolver and since A Brochure of Wonderful People and Another Brochure of Wonderful People both with Claus Richter. She graduated in 2000 from HfG Offenbach in the class of Lewis Baltz. She was recently awarded a residency grant from the Hessische Kulturstiftung at Cité des Arts Internationale, Paris. She devides her time between Berlin, Frankfurt and Paris.
