Throughout history humans looked to the heavens in search for the sublime. Polish artist Jerzy Kedziora draws from this sense of the sublime, from art history and myth, to sculpt bronze characters that provide an alternate perspective of reality by hanging high above the ground. The manipulation of kinetics and site in his work allows Kedziora’ s balancing sculptures to unlock the potential of human imagination.
