Modern Art is pleased to announce Live and Let Die, an exhibition of painting which includes work by Liz Arnold, Katherine Bernhardt, Max Brand, Vittorio Brodmann, William N Copley, Sanya Kantarovsky, Ella Kruglyanskaya, Ansel Krut, Otto Muehl, Djordje Ozbolt, Joyce Pensato, Steven Shearer, Amy Sillman, Tim Stoner, Torey Thornton, Caragh Thuring, Michael Williams and Amelie von Wulffen.

Liz Arnold – (b. 1964, Perth, Scotland – died 2001). Selected exhibitions include Beck’s Futures, ICA, London, (2000); New Contemporaries, Tate Gallery, Liverpool and Camden Arts Centre, London (1996).

Katherine Bernhardt – (b. 1975, St Louis, MO, USA. Lives and works in Brooklyn, New York, USA). Recent solo exhibitions include LOYAL, Malmö, Sweden (2012); CANADA Gallery, New York, USA (2010).

Max Brand – (b. 1982 Leipzig, Germany. Lives and works in Frankfurt/Main, Germany). Recent solo exhibi-tions include SPACE, London (2014); Jacky Strenz, Frankfurt/Main, Germany (2014).

Vittorio Brodmann – (b. 1987, Ettingen, Switzerland. Lives and works in Zurich, Switzerland). Recent solo ex-hibitions include Leslie Fritz, New York, USA (2013); 21er Raum/21er Haus, Vienna, Austria (2013).

William N Copley - (b. 1919, New York, USA - died 1996). Selected solo exhibitions include Paul Kasmin Gal-lery, New York, USA (2012); Max Ernst Museum, Brühl, Germany (2012); Sadie Coles HQ, London (2011).

Sanya Kantarovsky – (b. 1982, Moscow, Russia. Lives and works in Los Angeles, USA). Selected solo exhibitions include Contemporary Art Centre, Riga, Latvia (2014); Casey Kaplan, New York, USA (2014) and Mark Foxx, Los Angeles, USA (2014).

Ella Kruglyanskaya – (b. 1978, Riga, Latvia. Lives and works in New York, USA). Recent solo exhibitions in-clude Studio Voltaire, London (2014); Contemporary Art Centre, Riga, Latvia (2014).

Ansel Krut – (b. 1959, Cape Town, South Africa. Lives and works in London). Recent solo exhibitions include Jerwood Gallery, Hastings, East Sussex (2014); Stuart Shave/Modern Art, London (2014).

Otto Muehl – (b. 1925, Grodnau, Austria - died 2013). Joyce Pensato – (b. 1941, New York, USA. Lives and works in Brooklyn, NY, USA). Recent solo exhibitions include Lisson Gallery, London (2014); Santa Monica Museum of Art, Santa Monica, USA and Contemporary Art Museum, St Louis, USA (2013-2014).

Steven Shearer – (b. 1968, New Westminster, Canada. Lives and works in Vancouver, Canada). Recent solo exhibitions include National Gallery of Canada, Ottowa, Canada (2013); 54th International Art Exhibition-La Biennale di Venezia, Canada Pavillion, Venice, Italy (2011). Current solo exhibition at Galerie Eva Presenhu-ber, Zurich, Switzerland.

Amy Sillman – (b. 1955, Detroit, MI, USA. Lives and works in New York, USA). Recent solo exhibitions in-clude ICA Boston, USA (2013-2014, travelling to Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College, New York, USA and Aspen Art Museum, Colorado, USA); Thomas Dane Gallery, London (2013).

Tim Stoner – (b. 1970, London. Lives and works in London, UK and Malaga, Spain). Recent solo exhibitions include Purdy Hicks, London (2013); Alison Jacques Gallery, London (2007).

Torey Thornton – (b. 1990, Macon, GA, USA. Lives and works in Brooklyn, NY, USA). Recent solo exhibi-tions include TORRI, Paris, France (2014); Karma, New York, USA (2013). Currently in a solo show at OHWOW, Los Angeles, USA.

Caragh Thuring – (b. 1972, Brussels, Belgium. Lives and works in London). Recent exhibitions include Antho-ny Meier, San Francisco (2013); group show The Approach, London (2014). Forthcoming solo exhibition at Chisenhale Gallery, London.

Michael Williams – (b. 1978, Doylestown, PA, USA. Lives and works in New York, USA). Recent solo exhibi-tions include Michael Werner Gallery, London (2014); Galerie Eva Presenhuber, Zurich, Switzerland (2014).
