UK based duo John Wood (born in 1969) and Paul Harrison (1966) have worked together since 1993 producing video works for single screen and installation. Their work is informed by a wide range of interests including sculpture, performance, drawing and architecture. It presents a minimal aesthetic, often with humorous elements, and its use of artist-made low-tech objects and everyday items gives it an air of a simple scientific experiment. While they have exhibited, in 2004, at the Museum of Modern Art, Queens (New York), and Tate Britain (London), this is their first major exhibition in Japan, and showcases new works created specifically for the occasion as well as other recent works.
