On the Feminist Appropriation of the Austrian Unconscious

Carte blanche for students in the Master in Critical Studies at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts. From September 10, 2015, mumok will be devoting two levels to its collection of work since 1945. Five themes—Taking Pictures of the Boys, Imitating the Imitations of the Imitators, Love, Taking Care: Capitalistic Yoga and Anger Issues, and Schlachten Material Prothesen—will together form a visual puzzle of overlapping exhibitions that will provocatively highlight and disperse the themes inherent within the mumok collection.
