The buddebook is an homage to the picture line in celluloid. The homage to the picture line refers to the idea of interweaving my two photographic analog archives in the book - my photo archive and my artist archive, which contains all of my analog documented works, as well as my photographic art works. Both archives are now intuitively interwoven with each other. The publication is also an homage to the materialized narrative as such, a story about an era in which something as material disappeared and being replaced by zeros and ones.

The collage is also taken up narratively, with the texts being drawn from diary entries, e-mails, letters, notes and memories. It is also a reader that deals with topics that concern me as a politically-minded, self-determined queer woman:
sexual identities, the free spirit and social disobedience.

Angelika Stepken, former director of Villa Romana, Florence and editor of this book, writes:

"The book is a collage that has melancholic, humorous, documentary, subversive
qualities that flash up the artist's inner and outer world over the course of more than 25 years.
They reflect the - also accidental - qualities of an artistic archive in a breathless narrative, generated from the light of past, analog times. It is a book about the exuberantly unjustifiable nature of artistic work."
