In the center of my production is an archive titled “Never Ending Memory”. Simultaneously an archive and a sculpture, it holds every note, idea, reference and instruction found in my work beginning in 2002. This method of collecting and examining influences and thinking, has gradually become a methodology often found in my production. The achieve itself has gone from only collecting material, to generating new ideas and thoughts.
The idea of mnemonic devices, as Cicero’s spatial “memory palace” has long been a reference point in my work. As it combines architecture, text, memory and narrative devices.
