Paula Cooper

NEW YORK – Paula Cooper Gallery is pleased to present a group exhibition of photography. Works in this show, dating from 1968 to present, range from Sophie Calle’s images of familiar objects to Sam Durant’s depiction of a wax figure, from Peter Moore’s documentation of Julian Beck’s Living Theatre to Carey Young’s reenactment of Valie Exports performance Lean In from 1976. Highlighted throughout the exhibition is the varied nature of the medium. On view from December 9, 2009 – February 19, 2010 at 465 West 23rd Street.
