PET BARTL-ZUBA (*1975) OFTEN M...
Pet Bartl-Zuba (*1975) often makes large format drawings and spatial objects from chipboard that create a dialog with the space and each other. The figure is central to his work, who encounters strange pictorial elements and fuses with them. Organic forms out of biology books, found illustrations or fleeting impressions taken from the everyday surroundings lead to surreal worlds of collage with pencil, color pencil and felt pen incorporated whose detailed concentration result in a documentation of the everyday. Pet Bartl-Zuba sculptures made of rough chipboard that he works into simple shapes and whereby the method he uses to make them is left open and visible to the viewer are also a type of display case or vitrine. Through a peephole place in the objects you can see strange architectural environments that invite you to enter and roam through and create your own narrative.
