His paintings are classic painting at its best. He shows courage in which he sets out on the well-elaborated field of abstract painting and doing all denominated in shrill tones and dispensed. But rarely more than two contradictory moments are brought together in an image. This game with opposing elements continues in the paint. Subtle picturesque areas of color are superimposed and pierced by a straight line drawn with the pencil lines, grid areas or ornamental elements.
