In her first solo show at AKINCI, Dafni Barbageorgopoulou will show her installation Bright Pointed Arch. Central in this installation of groundpiece and tapestry is the aim to create a pattern that would be equivalent to ideal structures for living. The pattern of the tapestry piece is transferred into space in a site specific multidimensional floor installation. This work’s attempt was to construct in real scale a passage that would connect the visionary to the material dimension.
