Henni Alftan (born 1979) is a strong painter who has studied in Paris and Edinburgh and now resides and works in Paris. Her works deal in an interesting manner with questions such as ”what is not seen in a painting”, ”what can be shown of this world in a painting and in what way”, and ”how the individual’s unique experience, collective memory and the subconscious relate to each other”.
Henni Alftan’s paintings combine assured brushwork with an open and inquisitive mind.
