In the Bakery Limoncello Gallery from London curated a group exhibition entitled 'Limoncello Yellow'. Contrary to what the title leads to suspect it is an exhibition of all green works in the inventory of Limoncello. 'Limoncello was always green in its first gallery space on Hoxton Street and it feels green in many ways, despite the alcoholic drink namesake's yellow colour', says Rebecca May Marston, founder of Limoncello and curator of the exhibition.
‘Limoncello Yellow’ shows works of Vanessa Billy, Lucy Clout, Sean Edwards, The Hut Project, Matthew Smith, Jack Srange and Yonatan Vinitsky. Limoncello opened its doors in 2007 and is working in particular with young, English artists. Beside exhibitions, the gallery’s program includes lectures, performances and events. Limoncello originated from Associates, a non-profit gallery that May Marston founded together with Ryan Gander.
Venice Biennale Barbara Visser is representing the Netherlands during the Venice Biennale in cooperation with Johannes Schwartz, Joke Robaard, Maureen Mooren and Event Architecture, curated by Guus Beumer. Yael Bartana represents Poland with her Polish film trilogy. Ryan Gander participates in the group show ‘ILLUMInations’ at the Arsenale. LOOP Art Fair From 19 till 21 May we are participating in LOOP art Fair in Barcelona with a solo presentation by Meiro Koizumi. CONVERSATION PIECES we’re staring a series of videportraits on our Facebookpage and our Youtube channel entitled ‘Conversation Pieces’ produced by Julia Schleyerbach, starting with Ryan Gander in conversation with Rudi Fuchs.
