Eine Übersichtsausstellung

Galerie Nicola von Senger is pleased to present Post Tenebras Lux, an overview exhibition showing the highlights of 20 years of gallery activity.
Between 1992 and 2004 Nicola von Senger showed numerous exhibitions in his gallery called Ars Futura in Zurich with partially young and upcoming artists such as Wolfgang Tillmans, Carsten Höller and Maurizio Cattelan. During these years also developed longtime collaborations with artists like Olaf Breuning, Daniele Buetti, Martin Parr and Elke Krystufek, which exist until this day.
Galerie Nicola von Senger was founded in 2005 and is based in Limmatstrasse. Besides the longtime companions the gallery programme was constantly extended by young artist’s positions. While the gallery owner at times of Ars Futura attracted attention - amongst others - with the first solo show by Wolfgang Tillmans, today he inspires his audience with young artists like Beni Bischof and Augustin Rebetez.
The current exhibition is showing works of 48 artists who have played an important role during the past 20 years of gallery activity and take today a firm place in the life of the gallery owner. Thus many of the presented works are a part of his private collection or part of the collection of the gallery. Some works are to be seen for the first time within the scope of a gallery presentation.
On the occasion of 20 years of gallery activity Galerie Nicola von Senger is looking forward to surprise the visitor with many works and invites him to make a ramble by the last 20 years.
