Swiss Performance Art Award 2023

The Swiss Performance Art Award contributes to the visibility of Swiss performance art, shows its diversity and quality and reinforces its recognition. The annual competition is open to artists from all areas with a performative practice. The Swiss Performance Art Award is a common initiative by the Cantons of Aargau, Basel-City, Basel-Country, Lucerne, St Gall, Zurich and the City of Geneva.
2023, the Canton of Basel-Landschaft, together with the Kunsthaus Baselland, will host this important event over the course of two days. The Swiss Performance Art Award 2023 will be accompanied by a focus program, which offers the participating artists the opportunity to present their respective performances to a wider audience. The Focus program is accompanied by Jules Pelta Feldman, who is involved in the project Performance: Conservation, Materiality, Knowledge.
