"Ohne Titel" (2011), 0:45 loop, HD. video still. With “Window Display” Künstlerhaus Bethanien presents a new exhibition cycle produced for the public space at Kottbusser Straße 10. On a monthly base passers-by will be able to view solo presentations by international artists on a screen inside our gallery window.“Ohne Titel” (2011) is a video work by artist Christian Niccoli. The video investigates the complexity of building on each other. This is shown metaphorically through a group of five people balancing on an rola-bola, a balance tool commonly known from the circus. In order to stand on it without collapsing, the group has to perfectly coordinate. Everyone is responsible in his/her movements for the entire group.
