The Künstlerhaus Bethanien presents a new exhibition cycle: “Window Display” produced for the public space at Kottbusser Straße 10. Passers-by will now be able to view monthly solo presentations by international artists on a screen inside our gallery window from now on.“One Hundred Favorites /Sto Ulubionych” (2007-2009) is a work by Polish artist Magda Buczek and presents a looped slideshow of one hundred scanned and signed Polaroids. The artist asked people “what is the most favorite part of your body?” and then had them pose it for her unclothed. The white frame around the Polaroid image was a space for an optional personal handwritten statement. At the end Magda Buczek managed to collect one hundred intimate favorites out of almost one hundred people of different age, nationality and gender.
