IN ROOM X: JILLIAN CLARK
Selected by Nicole Will
10 January – 16 February 2013
Bortolami is pleased to present a new installation by Jillian Clark.
This intervention methodically explores and interacts with the room’s architecture. The chalk lines are created by the Strait-Line tool, commonly used on construction sites for leveling dry wall. As the immaterial qualities of the line, chalk, and color grow into full environments, the details of the space blend and become fluid.
Jillian Clark was born in California and lives and works in Brooklyn. She received her MFA from California College of the Arts in 2011.
