Since the noticeable appearance of Martine Feipel and Jean Bechameil when they represented Luxembourg at the Venice Biennial in 2011, they have continued to show their artistic work internationally while developing this through their own experiences. The Casino Luxembourg will exhibit the French-Luxembourgish duo's first personal exhibition.
Theatre of Disorder
During the entire modern period, the future and progress have been the main issues in social science and political movements. Today, the future seems to be more and more obliterated by the notion of technological progress dominated by a handful of large companies. In a spirit of re-appropriation of the values of the future, the artist couple Martine Feipel & Jean Bechameil would like to understand this technology and question its influence on our living spaces and our relationship with the world.
Theatre of Disorder confronts us with this new era which begins in an exhibition setting where order and disorder cohabit.
