Days, I See what I Saw and what I will See
10 September - 8 October, 2011

The Chantal Crousel gallery is pleased to present Melik Ohanian’s third exhibition at the gallery.
A new film by the artist - Days, I See what I Saw and what I will See, 2011 - made this year in Sharjah, on the occasion of the 10th Biennale - will be screened for the first time.
In continuation of his conceptual approach to the cinema, Days, I See what I Saw and what I will See, is an experiment of a continuous representation of space and a discontinuous representation of time, at the same time. The two versions of the film - the day version, and the night version -, shot during 11 days in a worker’s Camp in Sajaa, Sharjah, are projected simultaneously on the two sides of the same screen.
New Selected Recording, unique edition large-size photographs and other new works revolve around the projection of Days, I See what I Saw and what I will See.
