Gil yefman's first solo exhibition at Dvir Gallery deals with the relationships between infancy, holocaust, and pornography on the one hand, private and public memory on the other hand, using the medium of knitting.
The act of knitting is associated with traditional women's crafts but has also aspects of therapy. The works, created through a repetitive and reflective process, contrast elements with traumatic symbolism with the softness, warmth, and protection of the wool.
