WAYPOINTS LIKE SHARON ́S STONE is an art/research project about African and Africanized spaces in and in relation to Vienna. A group of transdisciplinary and transcultural authors reflect spatial, time-related and cultural manifestations, parallels and experiences regarding the theme of the project. Documentary and narrative contributions are to be inscribed as `Waypoints ́ in the exhibition space, which defines itself as a multi-layered map and field for experimentation. The contextualizing of the works is seen as a process supported by discourse formats and participatory moments, which places them in new interpretative contexts.

The project is intended to develop forms of the perception, conception and representation of space, which are capable of dealing with contemporary cultural, geopolitical, social and aesthetic situations and dynamics.
