Hans Hillmann (born in 1925) has been among the most important innovators of the film poster since the 1950s. The German Poster Museum at Museum Folkwang owns an almost complete collection of his works and in the exhibition The Title Is Continued in the Picture will, among other things, be showing his exemplary posters for the Atlas film distributor and Walter Kirchner’s New Film Art.
