On November 4, 2011, a jury in Stuttgart named 23 photo books as winning titles of the German Photo Book Prize 2012: 14 titles in the Photo Book category; six in the Photo History & Theory category; and three books in the category of Photo Instruction. The Forum für Fotografie presents once again the winning and selected titles.
The German Photo Book Prize is awarded regularly by the Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels, Landesverband Baden-Württemberg [Association of German Book Dealers, Baden-Württemberg National Association]. The jury honors photographers, writers, and editors that have excelled in addressing and presenting a specific photographic concept.
