Galerie b2_ freut sich Ihnen die Ausstellung ZWICKMÜHLE des Künstlerduos HAGEL bekannt geben zu können. Paule Hammer und Sebastian Gögel erarbeiten seit 2005 als »Hagel« eigene raumspezifische Installationen mit themenbezogenen Arbeiten. Im Entstehungsprozess spielen sie sich gegenseitig die Bälle aus Geistesgebäuden, Bildwelten und Formvorstellungen hin und her. Sie betreten hemmungslos neue Materialsphären und missbrauchen sie für ihre Zwecke: mit dem Ziel den Betrachter in eine manipulierte, Gestalt gewordene Geisteswelt mitzunehmen. Dieses Mal rekapitulieren sie die Zwickmühlen ihrer Lebenswege in überdimensionalen Näharbeiten.



Galerie b2_ is proud to invite you to the exhibition ZWICKMÜHLE (Double Mill) by the artist duo HAGEL. Since 2005, Paule Hammer and Sebastian Gögel have been successfully collaborating beneath the acronym HAGEL, creating site-specific installations that visualize a thematic dialogue between the two. Thus engaging in matches of intellectual Ping-Pong, the artists seek to restructure and intensify their respective subject matters, imageries and formal concerns. Venturing without restraint into new material spheres, HAGEL exploit the potential these offer to the ends of drawing the spectator into the vortex of an intellectual cosmos of transmuted form and content. This time round, oversized fabric works seek to reiterate the dilemmas of the artists' journeys through life.
