»Aus dem Haus«, »Hinter uns am Hang» and »Schöne Aussichten« are exhibition titles that gave rise to Katharina Immekus’ pictures. With her current exhibition KATALOG however, she presents an inventory of her work from the last twelve years as the source of The Book – representing both concept and intended outcome of the exhibition. In the near-complete spread of work from 1995 to new and current pictures, including oil paintings; watercolours; graphics and drawings, Katharina Immekus converts Galerie B2 into a display cabinet. Hence we’re invited into her world, which is one of residential homes; campsites and guesthouses. One surrounded by friends and of absurd picture montages and landscape collages. We therefore undertake a journey through time, cross-referencing her work, which unveils the numerous and varied pages of Katharina Immekus’ KATALOG.
