The exhibition Both Before and After gathers together works from Július Koller, Jirí Kovanda, Dominique Petitgand and Pia Rönicke. As its title suggests, this exhibition oscillates between two temporalities: between the anticipated end of a situation and the premises of another one to come. The works presented in this exhibition join this dynamic, approaching this particular moment when something seems to appear in an almost intuitive way in the formulation of a work, which afterward turns out to be determining in the development of an artistic practice.
