gb agency is pleased to announce Pratchaya Phinthong third solo show at the gallery.
For his new project, the artist tackles the issues of representation and questions the perception of reality through History and Sciences. Each piece in the exhibition is the material for building a story, the starting point for a mental projection, but above all, it is the pretext for a new exchange, economical or human. Pratchaya Phinthong transmits different cultural memories and reconstructs a word, more abstract and universal. He connects the far past and tradition of rumors to technological progres and finds correspondances between artistical forms and social nets. A film, a sculpture and a large spatial installation will be produced for the exhibition.
