"Disegni di Aldo Rossi"

Giò Marconi is pleased to announce Aldo Rossi, works on paper, ten years after his last solo-show in Milan.
The exhibition collects the most important forty works of his career, from 1960 to 1990.
The architectonical’ projects drawn in watercolours or in black pencil, in felt-pen or in collage or in mixed-media, in coloured-pastels or in tempera, have always been the main trait of his work as a designer: from his famous studies for the Gallaratese in Milan (from 1968) to his projects for the San Cataldo Cemetery in Modena (from 1971), from his projects for the Hotel II Palazzo di Fukoka (from 1987) to his sketches for the Showroom Ambiente in Tokyo (from 1989), drawing has always been for Aldo Rossi a further element to check his developing projects, a subsequent reflection on the architectures, and a strong passion.
