Stanley Kubrick (1928 - 1999) is one of the most significant directors in the history of film making. He created a range of masterpieces including '2001: A Space Odyssey', 'Clockwork Orange' and 'The Shining'.

In the fall of 2017 Kunstforeningen GL STRAND presents Stanley Kubrick – The Exhibition, which will be an immersive presentation of Kubrick’s film making showing his photographs for LOOK Magazine, film excerpts, interviews with Kubrick and his collaborators, documentations of his film productions and work methods along with Kubrick’s own great archival material.

Stanley Kubrick – The Exhibition is created for GL STRAND in collaboration with Deutsches Filmmuseum, Frankfurt am Main, Christiane Kubrick, Jan Harlan and The Stanley Kubrick Archive at University of the Arts London, with support from Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc., Sony-Columbia Pictures Industries Inc., Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios Inc., Universal Studios Inc., and SK Film Archives LLC.
