Between You And Me - Voices Across Borders

What is freedom for me – what is freedom to you? When is it okay to break the law? What pisses you off ? What dreams do you have? Which topics of conversation are never up for discussion?
Questions like these are the basis for the participatory project called Between You And Me – Voices that move across borders initiated by artist Monique Wernhamn. The results are now exhibited at Gцteborgs Konsthall where the visitor is given an insight into the participants' thoughts.
25 young adults were equipped with a camera and from a script they interviewed then another. Based on the same script they turned then look and the questions to older persons in their environment. Artist Monique Wernhamn , in collaboration with Gцteborgs Konsthall and Burgеrdens Educational Center , worked in an art project that provides space for young and old thoughts about life, society and the world .
The project is open 8 February to 2 March in various parts of Gцteborgs Konsthall, in parallel with the exhibition Double Standards with Per Mеrtensson.
