New work - in 3 series series of photographs - by the Slovak artist, whose work is a remarkable visual testament to his personal vision of the world around him. Kopasz's highly skilled black and white photographs are characteristically worked on with hand coloring, added text, collage and tracing-paper overlays, which imbue them with the visual qualities of graphics. He connects the traditions of Czech and Slovak creative arts; in his work we can feel echoes of a distinctive form of Central European surrealism.
