CURRENT TRANSMISSION
20 – 23 February 2020

A four-day showcase presenting new works in audio, moving image and interactive media from London-based emerging artists.

With over 40 participating artists, Current Transmissions represents the artists commissioned during two In Production open calls held by the ICA in 2019 as part of New Creatives, a national talent development scheme co-funded by BBC Arts and Arts Council England.

All featured works were commissioned by the ICA and developed by the artists with mentoring and production support provided by the ICA alongside New Creatives production partners Chisenhale Gallery, Dazed Media, NTS, SPACE, the Visible Institute at Kingston School of Art and Werkflow.

Evening programmes run Thursday to Sunday, from 7pm and will feature performances and screenings of up to 10 artists’ work. The exhibition is open Friday to Sunday, 12 – 5pm, and is free to enter.

Current Transmissions forms part of In Production, an ongoing learning initiative conceived by the ICA in parallel with New Creatives.
