Eleonora Rossi 'OBLIO'
17 Jan - 03 Feb 2007
Bestia vestita da uomo - bambino mandato in giro solo per il mondo , col suo cappotto e le sue cento lire eroico e ridicolo me ne vado al lavoro, anch io per vivere...
Pier Paolo Pasolini
Beast dressed as a man - child sent alone around the world, with his coat and his few cent, heroic and ridiculous I'm also going at work. To survive ...
Pier Paolo Pasolini
This is a citation draft from a piece of poetry by Pier Paolo Pasolini, one of the greatest Italian poets and directors. His cruel and hard work about the people and children of the Italian suburbs, has influenced the works for this exhibition at João Ferreira Art Gallery. Inside his verses there is everything I can say. Or even better, all I can paint. I want to talk about the oblivion of creatures and situations indifferent for many of us while the daily news are full of them. I want to talk about their suspended life. Without time, or place. Because their time can be anytime and their place can be anywhere.
