A joint exhibition by the candidates of this year’s Ars Fennica prize opens in Kiasma in 13th October.
The candidates for the 2017 Ars Fennica prize are Maija Blåfield, Pekka and Teija Isorättyä, Perttu Saksa, Kari Vehosalo and Camilla Vuorenmaa.
The Ars Fennica prize is awarded by the Henna and Pertti Niemistö Foundation in recognition of distinctive artistic output of high merit. The prize sum is 40,000 euro. The winner of the award will be chosen by Museum Director Beatrix Ruf from Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam.
