Lütte mit Rucola

“Little Child (Lütte) practices para-voodoo.
Visual Test with rolling eye.
Musical organ with a beetle drifts into the soil of the earth.
Skullcap being drilled open and a Q-Tip chart implanted.
Neurons flow into a slice of cucumber that gets eaten by a guinea pig.
Tongue licks indifference curve.
Chopped-off hand clicks fingers to the music of Blackmail.”

John Bock

Lütte mit Rucola ("Li’l One with Arugula") is the title of the new work by John Bock that is being shown at Galerie Klostefelde, Zimmerstraße 90/91.
The combination of a film on display in conjunction with objects starring in the latter shows the "synthesis between simple organic and even simpler paranormal cognitive neuron-elasticities".
At this, Lütte mit Rucola, with its extreme depiction of violence, blood and torture, first comes across as a splatter kind of horror-movie, however, at the same time it is removed from it, by way of distancing.

John Bock is being remote-controlled by the paranormal powers of the Lütte and driven towards heinous acts. Thus the body of his victim is being deconstructed and diagrams installed on it, and he conducts various tests and analyses.
Decision-modules are being positioned on the body for determination of analytic truths. Brutally, but endued with technical skill, body parts are being cut-off and placed into modules in order to determine the Optimal Formula...

The ultimate horror for a better world.

The film contains passages that are unsuitable for children.
