For the latest presentation in the series „Schaufenster“ , the Kunstverein für die Rheinlande und Westfalen, Düsseldorf warmly welcomes Infinite Greyscale Records. The record label, situated in Berlin, was founded in 2013. Established in 2008, „Schaufenster“ (Neustraße 10) shows single presentations of young artists in public space.
Infinite Greyscale Records is a record label run by David Hubbard, Paul McDevitt and Cornelius Quabeck. Initially an initiative by the artists McDevitt and Quabeck intended for publishing artist books, it developed to a platform for inviting musicians to release a collaborative 10“ vinyl edition.
Releases include:
Gabriel Saloman (IGR01: RIOTS DON‘T JUST HAPPEN), Jefre Cantu-Ledesma (IGR02: REQUIEM [FOR VIOLIN AND MAGNET TAPE] ) , Jan St. Werner (IGR03: SPLIT ANIMAL SCULPTURE) and Holly Herndon (IGR04: BODY SOUND).
